Coffee Shop Update

The Coffee Shop is currently closed.

Initially we will open to residents, their direct family booked visitors and staff ONLY.

Monday –  Woodroffe and Goodwin residents and family 10am-2.30pm by pre-booked appointment ONLY

Wednesday – Ellwood residents and family 10am-2.30pm by pre-booked appointment ONLY

Friday – Ellwood residents and family 10am-2.30pm by pre-booked appointment ONLY

To book a visit slot for the coffee shop please contact the home as you would do for a usual visit but specify you wish to go to the coffee shop rather than the visit room. An LFT test 30 minutes before your booked slot will still be required and must be negative.

Residents may have maximum TWO visitors in the coffee shop. There will be space for three groups socially distanced in each bookable slot. Access will be by pre-booked appointment and LFT test only, and only on the day allocated to that home. Bookings are First come-first served.

Staff may access the coffee shop on any of the three days but may not occupy a table that is pre-booked for a visit.

Our food and drink availability may be limited initially but will expand as we go on. We have decided to abandon the donation method of payment. From re-opening the cost will be £1 for a drink and £1 for a cake. Toasted sandwiches or Paninis will also have a fixed price (by all means donate more if you wish!) Residents are NOT charged.

Once we are back in the swing of things and are confident that the risks (if any) are being well managed, we will expand as appropriate.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
