Our values and person centred approach to care.

We recognise that every person who chooses to live at Ifield Park has a right to be treated as an individual, be shown respect and consideration at all times and have their dignity considered and respected. Each individual is unique and makes a valued contribution to the home community in which they live, no matter how small, and their opinion, together with their right to choose, is to be appreciated by our staff employed to care for them.

Each resident has a person centred care plan and "Remember I'm me" chart which details their life history, medical, social, spiritual/cultural and care needs. By inviting the collaboration of each resident, their family and friends, we seek to ensure that the care we give is professional, caring, thoughtful and dignified.

To achieve these aims we ensure that at Ifield Park we work together to improve our services and encourage teamwork. We take the time to understand each other's roles and needs. We initiate partnerships to integrate with others to provide improved services to residents and with the local communities. Ifield park values accountability and this is about taking personal responsibility. If we feel there is a problem, together, we will do something to help solve it. Ifield Park is about empowering and supporting each other, so we can make the best decisions for our residents and each other. It is about providing a clear framework so everyone knows where they stand.

All care homes are subject to independent inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). When Ifield Park was inspected in July 2013, the home achieved the highest rating of COMPLIANT. This is a link to the CQC web site www.cqc.org.uk or Click here to see their report on Ifield Park
