Ifield Park is delighted to offer varying levels of care to its residents.

Residential Care
Penn Court (Elderly frail Residential home) is a warm and supportive environment for older age residents who, for reasons of increased vulnerability or frailty, can no longer manage independently at home alone. Independence, dignity and freedom of choice are promoted within a safe, caring and stimulating environment. Should a resident deteriorate in health and require an increased level of care, we aim to transfer residents within our establishment to Woodroffe Benton Nursing Home if at all possible, thus ensuring continuity of care in a familiar environment that continues to meet increasing needs. Similarly, should a resident be diagnosed with a Dementia related illness, we aim to offer residential Dementia accommodation within Ellwood Place.

Dementia Care
Ellwood place is a Dementia friendly environment where specially trained staff encourage residents to participate in the daily life of the home. Regular, meaningful occupation and reminiscence based activity, together with encouraging a contribution towards the “family” atmosphere within the home, gives residents a sense of self worth, dignity and choice. Should a resident physically deteriorate in health and require an increased level of physical care, we aim to transfer residents within our establishment to Woodroffe Benton Nursing Home (assuming that the nursing needs override the Dementia) , thus ensuring continuity of care in a familiar environment that continues to meet increasing needs. Please note we are not registered for Dementia nursing care (EMI)
